Terms and Conditions for Lucent Aesthetics

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services, website, and facilities provided by Lucent Aesthetics. By booking an appointment, using our website, or engaging in our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Booking and Payment:
Valid Card Requirement: You are required to have a valid credit/debit card on file to book an appointment with us. If you are unwilling to provide a card, we kindly ask that you seek services elsewhere.
Payment Terms: By booking with us, you authorize us to charge the card on file for applicable services, cancellation fees, or no-show fees as outlined in this Agreement. All payments must be made before you may book any future appointments. If your card is declined or expired, you will be sent an invoice that must be paid before scheduling any further appointments.
Cancellation Fees:
Late Cancellations: Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost (up to $150).
No-Call No-Show: Failure to show up for your appointment without prior communication will result in being charged 100% of the scheduled service cost.
Failure to Pay: Failure to pay cancellation or no-show fees will result in being banned from booking future appointments.
Non-refundable Deposit: If you no-call/no-show and pay the associated fee, we will require a non-refundable deposit for all future appointments.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
48-Hour Notice: Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be difficult to fill, and the cancellation fee will apply.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling should be done via text or email directly with Ofelia. Other forms of communication will be considered invalid, and failure to communicate properly will result in the cancellation fee being applied.
Excessive Cancellations: Clients who cancel or no-show three times in a row or three times within a calendar year will be blocked from booking.
3. Appointment Confirmations and Modifications:
Appointment Confirmations: Appointment reminders will be sent once you book. You must confirm your appointment within 1 week of booking, or we reserve the right to cancel your service without notifying you directly. You will receive a notification from the booking system.
Modifications: Modifications to appointments (such as downgrading services) must be made 48 hours in advance. If changes are made within 48 hours, you will be charged for the service you booked and 50% of any downgraded service.
4. Late and No-Show Policy:
Late Arrivals: If you are 5-15 minutes late for your appointment, we will proceed with the service, but may have to shorten the treatment. You will be charged the full service price.
Late Cancellations: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, and you will be charged the applicable cancellation fee.
5. Health and Safety:
Client Health: You are required to inform us of any allergies, conditions, or concerns that may affect your ability to receive treatments. If you arrive at your appointment with an illness or symptoms of sickness, we may ask you to reschedule and the cancellation fee will apply.
COVID-19: We do not make exceptions for COVID-19-related cancellations. If you need to cancel due to illness or exposure, the cancellation fee will apply.
Sickness Policy: If you arrive sick, or we suspect you may be ill, we may ask you to leave and will apply the cancellation/no-show fee. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client showing symptoms of illness.
6. Privacy and Data Protection:
Personal Information: When booking with us, you agree to share personal information (e.g., contact details, health history) necessary for appointment scheduling and service provision. Your data will be securely stored and used solely for the purposes of treatment and communication.
Data Security: We take the security of your personal and payment information seriously. All sensitive information is stored securely and processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
Marketing and Communication: By booking with us, you consent to receiving reminders, updates, and marketing communications. You can opt-out of marketing messages at any time by contacting us.
7. Website Usage:
Intellectual Property: All content on the website, including text, images, logos, and other materials, are the intellectual property of Lucent Aesthetics. You may not copy, distribute, or use any materials from the website without prior written consent.
Account Security: If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and account details.
Links to Third-Party Websites: Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
8. Limitation of Liability:
Service Results: While we aim to provide high-quality esthetic services, individual results may vary, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes from treatments. You agree to release us from liability for any dissatisfaction or adverse effects that may result.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucent Aesthetics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lucent Aesthetics, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of our services, website, or products.
9. Modification of Terms:
Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review the terms periodically.
Notification of Changes: Significant changes to these terms may be communicated via email or text, but continued use of our services or website will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state where Lucent Aesthetics operates. Any legal disputes related to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
11. No Children or Guests Allowed:
No Children: For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that no children be brought to appointments. For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present for the consultation.
No Guests: We also ask that no additional guests accompany you to your appointment unless previously agreed upon. If a guest is brought without prior approval, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and apply the cancellation fee.
12. No Refunds Policy:
No Refunds: There are no refunds for any of our services or products under any circumstances. All sales are final, and no exceptions will be made.
